Sage Wreaths

All this crisp autumn air has me taking long walks and lingering outside on these last snowless days, before the cold nips too hard or the animals disappear into their homes.

It also has me storing up veggies, herbs, and seeds for next year. So as I shook out seeds from the Black Eyed Susan’s I noticed a sage plant, practically a bush, that will die at first frost. So instead of letting all those tasty greens go to waste, I decided to find a way to save them.

Pulling some wild grape vines into little wreaths I began tucking the stems into and around the vines. Creating  a hedge of green that can dry over time and infuse my entryway with earthy aromas.

What extra herbs do you have in your garden this year? Try your hand at these fun wreaths for your harvest season.

Happy Questing!
