Q-Kids Art Activity

This little mini series is an attempt to help out my fellow parents who need ideas to break up the day. These ideas will be fast, adaptable, and hopefully use things you already have on hand all from home.

MAKE A PUZZLE

My kids love puzzles and this is perfect for any artist. Have the child draw a picture, the more complex the better. You can do this on the back of a jigsaw puzzle template like the one in the photo or you can free hand your puzzle shapes.

You’ll need:

• Thicker paper or thin cardboard
• Coloring items like crayons or pencils
• Scissors

After you’ve made your picture cut out the puzzle shapes to begin putting your homemade puzzle together.
