This little mini series is an attempt to help out my fellow parents who need ideas to break up the day. These ideas will be fast, adaptable, and hopefully use things you already have on hand, all from home.
BEADING
Whether you’re kids are small or big you can get a lot of fun with beads. For my smaller kids you can work on patterns with stringing beads onto some string.
You’ll need:
- String, anything that fits through the bead hole
- beads
For older kids I’d use smaller bead to do some embellishment on jeans or a backpack. Use a simple whip stitch along the edge of a pocket or edging to give your items some new bling. Check out this awesome post for more inspiration.
You’ll need:
- Sewing string
- needle
- seed beads
- something to embellish
