Q-Kids: Nature Prints

It’s been awhile since I’ve been able to renew my stash of play dough for the kids. So each of the little tubs are getting dry and difficult to work with. There has to be a last use for play dough about to go bad. Here’s what I came up with.

Nature Prints! Gather lots of textured nature things on a walk together. Things like leaves, pine cones, bark, and rocks. Then print the textures into the play dough by pressing them onto each item. Use a magnifying glass to see the textures and compare to the found item.

I hope your kids love this project as much as mine did. We even took the play dough outside to the picnic table for this project.

Happy Questing!
