Reflecting on 2021

There is nothing permanent except change.

Well 2021 was defiantly full of change, can I get an amen? I don’t even want to get into the crazy that is Covid19 on this post so I won’t. Let’s leave it at it’s made of mess of every routine. So change is inescapable, but I’m still not a fan at times.

Humans are creatures of habit. If you quit when things get tough, it gets that much easier to quit the next time. On the other hand, if you force yourself to push through it, the grit begins to grow in you.

On the other hand, some of the change that happened in 2021 was ah-ma-zing. I truly mean it too.

For starters, we welcomed a new little one into our home. I’m in love yet again. I never knew a heart could hold so much love and hope so instantly. So yes, love at first sight is real, especially in regards to babies.

Then right before baby was due we decided it was time to move! Yeah I do not recommend moving while pregnant. It is difficult to say the least. But I did get the luxury of pointing to things and others moved them, big thanks to my family who helped in so many ways.

I’m going to choose to look back on 2021 with perspective that change can be so good. Even when it’s hard. Even when it’s sad. Even when it hurts. We will make new routines (if the baby will allow it) and life keeps going on.

Cheers to 2022 and all the change it is sure to bring!

Happy Questing!
