3 best Alternatives to Dryer Sheets

I have had horrible itchy reactions to dryer sheets in the past, so I decided to do some research on what they are made of.  My skin is sensitive and I found out that dryer sheets are full of chemicals that can cause reactions and other health issues.  I wanted to share with you a short list of healthier alternatives that wont leave you with a rash.

  1. Wool Dryer Balls, I purchased mine on Amazon, but you can also make your own with this DIY.  You can add essential oils such as lavender to make your clothing smell amazing!  I use these out of the 3 listed because they are the most price conscious and I think they work really well. 31qfMuwzQwL
  2. Handmade Dryer Sheets,  using a sewing machine and some fabric scraps you can create your own non-toxic dryer sheets.  Follow this amazing DIY to make your own.

  3. Meyer Dryer Sheets,  If you don’t have time to make your own, I Recommend purchasing these.  They may be a little more expensive but definitely worth the price if you cant make your own.  lavender-dryer-sheets

Watch out for chemicals in products that you use, and adjust to what fits your lifestyle.  Be informed of what you are putting on and in your body and the result will be a healthier you.  I hope you enjoyed my list of safer alternatives, let me know what works best for you in the comment section below.

  1. I’m pretty conscious about the chemicals in lotions, makeup, shampoos etc., but I never really thought about dryer sheets! Good point! I’ll be making the change to either wool dryer balls or Meyer’s!!!
