Make your own Salad dressing!

Ingredients

I was looking in the store at the salad dressings and realized they are packed full of things that I have never heard of.  Making a salad dressing is very simple and you probably have all the ingredients already in your kitchen.  All of the recipes below are an ingredient list, to make the dressing just put all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until the dressing is creamy.

Here are three dressings to try at home for the next time salad is on the menu.

Avocado Lime Dressing

  • 1 whole avocado
  • 3 tbs cashew milk (or almond milk)
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1 Tbs garlic
  • 5 Tbs olive oil
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Creamy Dill and Garlic Dressing 

  • 1/2 can of chickpeas, drained
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2tsp dill
  • 1/4 cup cashew milk
  • 1 tsp of Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Apple Cider Vinaigrette

  • 5 tbs Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 tbs Maple syrup
