Fall is coming and one of my favorite things to eat in the fall is fresh baked warm bread. My new favorite bread recipe is with rosemary, it makes your house smell amazing when you bake it and it taste delicious! It will turn out light and fluffy on the inside, and crisp on the outside.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups Warm Water
- 1 Active Yeast Packet
- 3 cups All Purpose Flour
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 Sprig of Fresh Rosemary Chopped
- 3 Garlic Cloves Minced
Pour all Dry ingredients into a mixing bowl including rosemary and garlic and mix. Add in wet ingredients and stir until it forms a ball. You may have to use your hands after awhile of mixing to get it fully combined. There is no need to knead this bread, do not over mix. If it is slightly too sticky you can add in a small amount of flour to make it the correct consistency. Set dough into a bowl and cover with a towel or plastic wrap.
Let the dough rise over night, it needs at lease 8 hours to rise.
In the morning punch the dough down, form into a ball and set in a greased bread pan let it rise again for another 2 hours or until doubled in size. When you are ready to bake preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 45 minutes. Serve warm.
