DIY Scented Rose Petals

Roses are so romantic and I have a hard time just tossing mine in the trash after they’ve wilted.

So often I’ll lay them on a cookie sheet and let them dry to save. But now I’ve got a whole bag full and no use! Well here a few ways to turn those dried gems into a wonderful evening.

Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil scent to a bag of petals and let the smell sink in overnight.

Use your new aromatic petals by:

  • Dropping a handful into a soothing bath.
  • Scattering them across the bed for your partner to find.
  • Putting them in a small fabric bag for your closet or car.
  • Filling a bowl in your living room with a candle in the center.

You could use other flower petals, even pinecones, to make your own potpourri mix for all kinds of events. Be creative and let the good smells roll.

If you’d like to order your own Young Living Essential Oils you can find them here.

Happy Questing!
